You buy a 32x, maybe you pay a little for it, and when you test it you hear the audio but you see absolutely nothing on the screen except a "ghost" (very tenuous almost invisible halo) of what the video image should be ... what to do ?
The connector for the power supply of the Sega 32x has its wear problems and if it does not make PERFECT CONTACT it cannot supply sufficient current to power the peripheral; the solution is to use an original power supply (you can also use that of a Mega Drive 2, a Game Gear or a Nomad) because the "multi" ones, perhaps Chinese, even if with a connector that apparently seems perfect, in actually I am not able to make good contact. The alternative is to clean / replace the console connector with a new one, perhaps with a more “universal” connection instead of the “rarer” one installed by Sega.
