If you have not modified your console with a composite output, the original RF signal (antenna) works on 2 channels that can be set using the appropriate switch on the console:
- Channel A (or Channel 2): 55.25 MHz frequency
- Channel B (or Channel 3): 61.25 MHz frequency
The power supply of the Atari 7800 is a mange by definition for various reasons one among many that of having a connector that to define "unusual" is to pay him a compliment (so if it breaks they are bunches) and another is to have such a thin wire which breaks when looking at it especially at the level of the point where it enters the transformer (see photo); if you are lucky and the area near the transformer is still good (so AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE from twisting it in the future) you could be the victim of another problem: when you connect the Tiffany-green head to the console the connection is as stable as a drunk on a beam from gymnastics and the power supply stops as soon as you touch it ... fortunately this problem can be solved with little. You need a thin and sturdy needle and a little patience: the aim is to bring the 4 metal "tabs" (see red arrows in the photo) of the connector itself closer together, which over the years have become a bit "loose" (so you work on the wire side and not on the console side) then trying to tighten the point where the 2 "pins" on the console side will enter, that's all
